Partner in crime against cybercrime: Our commitment as a Microsoft Solutions Partner for Security
There’s a lot going on – at water, at Microsoft, and in the world of IT security. And with so much happening at the same time, it’s easy to lose track. So, let’s take a step back and look at all the highlights of the past few months – before we focus on the future and our full commitment to pushing cybersecurity forward together with Microsoft.
Time to celebrate
In San Francisco, we celebrated one of our biggest wins. At the MISA Excellence Awards in May, we were among the finalists in the “Endpoint Management Trailblazer” category. Amazingly, we actually won this award and took it home with us – an accomplishment the entire water team can be incredibly proud of.
Our CEO Alexander Benoit also had a reason to be excited. He recently won the Microsoft MVP Award for Security for the 8th time. Of course, we are not celebrating all this alone – but with our partners and clients. Without them, none of this would have been possible in such a short amount of time.
Focusing on what really matters
Awards are nice, but let’s face it: at the end of the day, it’s about more than that. It’s about providing our clients with the highest level of IT security. And we believe the only way to do that is with a holistic approach that covers all the relevant areas and is based on a security strategy that is tailored to the specific needs of each organization. That’s why our services cover all aspects of IT security:
Threat Protection From cloud services to data protection – our IT consultants help assess IT security maturity to keep pace with the ever-evolving threat landscape. | Managed Detection & Response (SOC) Our team of SOC analysts identifies and resolves potential cyber risks. Fast. Dedicated. And 24/7 from Germany. |
SOC Assessment We check the maturity of any SOC to improve its resilience and performance with a complete and future-proof strategy. | Microsoft Copilot We implement Microsoft’s new AI-powered tools, Copilot for Security and Copilot for Microsoft 365, for greater efficiency and security. |
What’s yet to come?
If you’ve spent any time in the tech world over the past few months, you probably already know the answer to that question: the future belongs to artificial intelligence. Since ChatGPT kicked off the era of AI, no topic has been more on the minds of our industry. And rightly so – the potential of this new technology is enormous. With Copilot for Security and Copilot for Microsoft 365, Microsoft has launched two intelligent assistants that are highly relevant for our IT and Security professionals. As a Microsoft for Security Private Preview Partner, we had the opportunity to be involved in the development of these tools from the very beginning. And can now pass on our know-how to our clients, for example in our AI transformation workshops:
• Our Copilot for Security workshop provides a comprehensive overview of Microsoft Copilot for Security, demonstrating how it complements existing Microsoft Defender XDR products.
• For Copilot for Microsoft 365 we’ve got an 18-Day Get Ready Standard Workshop for Microsoft E3 license holders and a 26-Day Get Ready All You Can Eat Workshop for Microsoft E5 license holders. Both workshops provide an implementation framework that gives full visibility and control over every organization’s most important asset – their data – while unlocking the full potential of Copilot for Microsoft 365.
If you are interested in what it’s like to work with Microsoft Copilot on a daily basis, take a look at our dedicated website. From CISOs to IT administrators, you can explore how AI can be efficiently integrated into everyday tasks and the benefits it can bring to each persona. And as a bonus, we even share a tried-and-tested prompt or two. Check it out at:

Staying hungry
With NIS2 on the horizon, we expect that our SOC services will also face growing demand – as the ideal foundation for meeting the stringent requirements of EU’s most comprehensive cybersecurity directive to date. But whether it is NIS2 or artificial intelligence, we’re more than optimistic about the coming months. We know that our close cooperation with Microsoft will enable us to provide our customers with cutting-edge solutions. Solutions we’re passionate about. Because at the end of the day, we’re all striving for the same thing: The best possible protection against cyber attacks.
And that will never change.
